The Card & Payments Awards are organised by Card Partnerships Limited and with the main focus on raising the profile of best of breed programmes in this market.

At a time when card and payments organisations are often the target of criticism from media and consumer groups, it's easy to forget all the achievements within the industry which make it one of the most dynamic sectors in Europe.

Martin Fielding, CEO and a founding director of Card Partnerships says, “I have worked in the card and payments industry for over 15 years and in this time I’ve seen many exciting developments. Card issuers get a bad press these days and it’s often unmerited. There are so many ideas in this market that benefit consumers - be it through ease of online payment, charity cards or anti-fraud initiatives. We thought it was about time the industry had a chance to celebrate this progress.”
